Jesus, My Savior
Jesus isn’t just the Savior, He’s my Savior. Christ died for my sins. He was buried for my sins. He was raised on the third day so I could spend eternity with him. This week’s name is Savior, and I can’t let it pass without telling you who Jesus is to me. I grew up in a church-going household, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a moment of not wanting to believe. Alpha and Omega
I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. – Revelation 1:8 This name, the Alpha and the Omega, only occurs in the last book of the Bible. Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, the beginning and the end. And even though the name is used only in the last book, it’s used both at the beginning and the end of the book. Maybe that’s a Godwink.
